i hope they get beat like a drum in the NIT........just so finally you will STFU about them getting robbed

they didnt beat a top 50 team during the regular season.......thats why they didnt get in

finshing 4th in the ACC means nothing if the teams you beat in the conference all finished below you

The RPI is skewed badly, when they changed it 4-5 years ago it messed up a good tool. Arizona St. beat Arizona twice finished higher in the PAC Ten and is at the house, is that fair? To me, top 4 in the ACC means NCAA birth.

Hey man...haven't ya heard???...VT GOT ROBBED!!!!!! (like they had any chance of winning anything anyways) Top 4 in the ACC either means 2nd, 3rd, or 4th loser unless you are #1 in the conference. Nothing but 1st place guarantees you anything.

Who cares if it's fair...if they had won thier tournament, it'd be a moot point as well...they had their chance.

regular season games are played for seeding in the ACCT

the only thing thats guaranteed is winning the damn tourney

if you dont win it.......you are at the mercy of your resume

in the case of VT.......their overall resume blew ass

lets say 4th place in the ACC somehow wound up with a losing record in the conference......would they still be deserving?

IMO, yes. 6-10 FSU went to the sweet 16, other losing record acc teams have mad the tournament and won games.

Teams that play their best at the end of the year, and rise to the occassion deserve to be in more than those who fail at the task at hand and then give excuses. Look at it this way, were the Giants the best team in football this year....for the most part NO..but they were the best on Super Bowl Sunday. Guess the folks on here arguing for VT think the Pats should be the Super Bowl Champion based on their regular season. It doesn't happen that way. You play big when it counts or you go home.

So has ETSU...your point is?...

if you think that a 6-10 conference record is "deserving"

then you dont "deserve" me to continue to discuss this with you because you are obtuse

i dont care how far they went......that record doesnt say "i deserve to be in the tourney"
